Many thanks to Renee Main, volunteer and special event coordinator with the Salvation Army Green Bay. During the pandemic, the organization has seen the need for service to those in need of food, shelter and spiritual care dramatically increase, and amazing, the staff and volunteers have stepped up to do whatever it takes to meet demand.
 
Twice the demand for food pantry, nearly three times the demand for meals and a new range of services offered by drive-up and phone – the Salvation Army is doing it. Our community’s help is needed right now. Volunteers are needed for Coats for Kids, Adopt A Family and Toys for Tots and the tradition of bell ringing – which will still happen with safe protocols and extra measures taken to stop the spread. You can even ring bells virtually! Donations of course are greatly needed too.
