The goodness – wait, GREATNESS – of the world is right in front of you at this moment. Three amazing teens joined Green Bay West Rotary this week as Students of the Month. We were wowed, amazed and inspired about our bright tomorrow under our future community leaders: Brady Wittig, Ashwaubenon High School, who nearly brought us to tears with an inspiring basketball camp experience; Annie Heck, Pulaski High School, who exudes goodness as she describes her involvement in school and church activities; and Lizzie Cantwell, Green Bay Southwest High School, who provided sage advice about life including “if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life,” and her dad’s loving daily tagline, “listen and learn.”
Brady is an athlete and mentor who is headed to UW-Madison for biomedical engineering. Annie is headed to UW-La Crosse for statistics and mathematics – Go STEM girl! Lizzie is a performer and leader headed to a four-year college to be decided for music education. Congratulations to Rotary Students of the Week!
