Many thanks to Coach Will Ryan for joining this week to talk about his return to his home state of Wisconsin and the upcoming season for the UW-Green Bay Men’s basketball team. Ryan, the oldest son of well-known College Basketball Hall of Famer and former University of Wisconsin Head Coach Bo Ryan, joined the university amid a global pandemic that saw college students sent home and athletics activities canceled. With students and athletes back on campus, sports seasons remain up in the air. Ryan hopes the Phoenix will be able to play a 22 game conference schedule starting in November. Fans will notice a different style of play under the new head coach, one that take a bit more time before firing off shots. The changing nature of the virus outbreak creates uncertainty but Ryan is confident in his players and is excited for the opportunity to play, whenever that may come.
