Green Bay West Rotary’s contribution to Rotary International in honor of Past President Bob Faulds earns Bob the Paul Harris Fellow distinction – which we presented him with this week. We recognize Bob, pictured with his supportive wife Stephanie – who helped us surprise him with the honor during our virtual meeting -- as a Paul Harris Fellow for steering our club during the uncertain times of the pandemic and keeping us looking forward to what we can do to improve our community.
Congratulations Bob, we thank you for your commitment to service above self! We also recognize members Terry Bush, Steve Finlay, Jeane Smits, Sue Stackhouse and Carl Thiem for their continued support of Rotary International and recognition in the Paul Harris Society. Thank you for your generosity!
Current Club President Mark Swiecichowski
The Paul Harris Fellow honor was established in 1957 to continue the legacy of Rotary founder Paul Harris to show appreciation for contributions that support its Annual Fund, PolioPlus, or an approved Foundation grant. The purpose of the Paul Harris Society is to honor and thank individuals for their generous, ongoing support of The Rotary Foundation.
Rotary districts often honor new members of the Paul Harris Society by presenting them with a certificate and chevron at a district or club event.
